We have had some wonderful crisp and sparkling days at La Herpiniere! We have also had our share of rain too, but of course we know its needed to keep our wonderful grounds growing and healthy. We are busy preparing the grounds for the new season. Plenty of pruning and cutting ensures the trees remain in good condition and the grounds look their best. It also keeps us spplied with firewood over the coming months.
Spring isn't that far off now and there's a lot of local conversation concerning the Grand Depart of this year's Tour de France at Mont St Michel and the following days racing through parts of Manche.
It certainly hasn't been all snow and ice, so far this winter. Exceptionally mild weather brought a splash of colour from our camelia bushes on Christmas Day! They are contuing to flower at the time of writing
So, Debbie and I are keeping ourselves very busy and ready to welcome our guests in 2016. A bientot!
